Helen (she/her) serves as the civic engagement organizer at El Pueblo. The work she does centers around mobilizing and empowering the latin community to actively participate in civic processes while also amplifying our peoples voices. 

Helen joined Adelante to further the progress and pathway to tuition fairness and to address the issues that impact all Latinx/ Immigrants regardless of their status. “As a daca-mented individual myself, I understand the hardships that can be encountered when pursuing higher education. I want to ensure that the youth coming up today have more opportunities than those that came before them.”
